An Interactive workshop on GST Overview and GST Migration was organised at CREDAI-Pune Auditorium on 05.04.17 at 3.00pm, which was attended by about 247 members and their representatives.

Dr. D. K. Abhyankar, Director General of CREDAI-Pune Mr. Atul Goel hon. Jt. Secretary of CREDAI-Pune, welcomed and felicitated Hon’ble Commissioner of Service Tax Mr. N. Sridhar. Mrs. Darshana Parmar Jain Managing Committee Member of CREDAI-Pune, welcomed and felicitated Hon’ble Dy. Commissioner of Service Tax Mr. K. Ramarao.

Mr. N. Sridhar explained the importance of GST and appealed everyone to register under GST. He further informed that GST Migration Mela is organised from 6 to 9th April, 2017 at Service Tax Commissioner office, near Wadia College, Pune 411001 from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. The Mela is organised to facilitate all Service Tax Assesses to migrate to GSTN. On the spot registration facility is made available at the Mela, one can get registered to GSTN with mobile No and Email ID of authorised person. He appealed all to get the benefit of the Mela.

Mr. K. Ramarao explained the migration process in details with examples and made every one understand about the GST (Goods and Service Tax). He explained about GST registration procedure, Mr. K. Ramarao futher explained about working of GST. Mr. K. Ramarao answered the questions raised by the members and their representatives.

Dr. D. K. Abhyankar proposed vote of thanks to Service Tax Authorities for educating CREDAI-Pune members and their representatives on GST Migration. He further requested audience to send their questions to CREDAI-Pune Secretariat, which will be submitted to Service Tax Department for reply after compilation. He also thanked members and their representatives.
